Year 3 Trip to Kents Cavern

On Tuesday, Year 3 went on a school trip to Kents Cavern. The children were really excited as there was a chance to go into a cave that was used by humans and animals in Prehistoric Britain.

As well as exploring artefacts in the grounds, they had a chance to hold a hand axe which was carved over 300,000 years ago.

The favourite part of the trip for many children was when our guides put out the fire in the cave and we all experienced complete darkness.
