World Book Day - Primary

Thursday 5th March, the primary and nursery phases were awash with colourful costumes and wonderful words as children and staff celebrated World Book Day with a vocabulary parade.

Throughout the day, our campus community shared stories with each other; celebrating our love of reading across the school. During World Book Day, children also took part in a treasure hunt across the primary phase, unscrambling the letters hidden around the building to reveal a well-loved book character. It was brilliant to see so many children entering Miss Woolridge’s book character potato competition and with so many entries it was extremely difficult to judge. After much deliberation, Miss Woolridge decided that the winning entry belonged to Harry Crellen in 2MM – well done Harry!

Thank you all for your amazing efforts towards World Book Day this year.
