Whatever you are doing with your family this Halloween, please stay safe and look out for each other!

For those who will be heading out to celebrate Halloween, Devon & Cornwall Police have shared some tips on keeping themselves and others safe:
• Young children should always be accompanied by an adult when trick-or-treating.
• Not everyone celebrates Halloween – only visit houses of people you know and those who are open to having trick-or-treaters.
• Bring a torch with you and wear something which is going to make you highly visible – Halloween is a great opportunity to try out glow in the dark face paints or clothing!
For those who do not wish to celebrate Halloween, particularly those who are elderly or vulnerable, it can be distressing to have strangers knocking on their door during the evening. The Police has a ‘no trick or treat’ poster, which residents can print and display on their door if they do not want trick-or-treaters: https://www.devon-cornwall.police.uk/halloween
