Explanation/Question/Challenge:

Please and thank you are a couple of simple phrases to show appreciation. However, we can forget to use them! If someone doesn’t thank us for something, we can get annoyed and can think they are rude. It’s important to remember this when we forget to use those little phrases ourselves.

• Do you always use good manners? Are there ever consequences if you don’t?
• Do you think it’s important to be polite to people? Why?
• Challenge yourself to be thankful! Share with your friends 3 things you are thankful for at the end of every day. When we learn to think about good things our outlook on life can change.
