Explanation:

A lot of people in the world believe in something and this takes faith.  We can see positive and negative things reported about the impact of religion on the world, but it is really important to look through the reports and understand the individuals and not just take the view of the extremists.

• How do you think religion affects the world?
• What do you believe? Think about how the world was created, what happens if we pray and how religious books can have an influence (remember everyone will have a different opinion and it’s important to listen to what others have to say).
• In pairs take some time to have a look at different faith groups and what they believe at their core. Do you see any similarities?
