Thought of the Week - Patience and Gentleness

“It is easier to find men who will volunteer to die. Than to find those who are willing to endure pain with patience.” Julius Caesar

The meaning of the word ‘patience’ means to accept delay without stress or worry. We have all had to be patient when waiting for food, but in extreme situations like the coronavirus lockdown we need to be patient too. If we all were impatient and tried to go back to our normal lives it would cause a lot of suffering. Being patient is so important, it can even save lives.

Questions:

  1. How do you remain patient?
  2. When has someone been patient with you?
  3. How could show patience to someone this week?
