Explanation:

Every Child Matters (ECM) was a government initiative which encouraged important changes to help to protect young people up to the age of 19. ECM says that young people should be healthy, stay safe, enjoy and achieve and make a positive contribution to society.

• How do you think these things are achieved in school? What about out of school?
• What do you think it means to stay healthy? Could this include both mental and emotional healthy as well as physical health?
