Explanation/Question/Challenge:

We can take it for granted in this country that we have access to running water and supermarkets within fairly easy reach.  We can forget that this isn’t the same for all people, whether in our own country or around the world.  Some people don’t have a choice of whether they are hungry or thirsty because this is their daily reality.

• If you could only eat one more meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
• Find out a bit more on global poverty. How many people around the world have gone without food today? How about those who aren’t drinking clean water?
• What could YOU do to have an impact on global poverty? Have a look on the Tearfund website for inspiration!
