On Armistice Day (Friday 11th November 2016) the primary and secondary phases, along with some families of primary students shared a Remembrance Day assembly in the main hall. We explored the history of both Remembrance and Armistice Day and were fortunate to have a parent play the Last Post on his bugle. Students showed excellent behaviour throughout the assembly. They demonstrated their respect for the occasion through reflection in the assembly and by observing a minute’s silence at 11am.
