Just a short newsletter this week!
Our lovely learning about autumn and exploring our Literacy text “Owl Babies” has continued this week, with children experiencing what it is like to be in the dark by writing under the table with torches! The children have also been creating some beautiful paintings using autumn colours which they mix with powder paint. Next week we will be thinking about nocturnal animals and what they get up to when we are asleep!
Many thanks to those of you who came to our parent’s evenings this week. If there is anybody who was unable to attend please contact your teacher to arrange a mutually convenient time to come in and see what your child has been up to.
Children In Need
Our children in need charity day will take place on Friday 16th November. It is a non-uniform day when we ask our children to wear spots or stripes (or both!) Our Reception classes will have a day which is full of spotty and stripy activities! If you have any stripy or spotty paper or material could you please bring it in on the day to help us make some lovely pictures.
Thank you for your continued support, please remember if you have any questions or concerns we are always available at the beginning and end of the day, or you can arrange an appointment to come and see me.
Have a lovely weekend
