This is a time of year that the Christmas story is focused on in Primary and we are all very excited about that. However, at the same time , our whole school focus is always on promoting our school’s values and our British Values including respect and tolerance for all people of all races and faiths. As a school we want to ensure that our children have every opportunity to experience a rich multicultural education and we are delighted that the Imam has kindly agreed to come to visit our school and to talk to our children. This comes just before a multicultural day when the Primary children will be learning about Christmas around the world before practising for their Nativity. On the last day of term we are also looking forward to welcoming Cranbrook’s vicar, Lythan into school as she will be helping to lead a special Christmas assembly.
In the future we very much hope to welcome the Imam back into school we also hope to visit the mosque one day too.
