Early Years Weekly News - 01/03/2019

Dear parents/carers,

Things are getting busy!! Please see below for the key dates coming up –

World Book Day Thursday 4th March

Please can all children come to Nursery and Reception dressed as a book character or Nursery Rhyme character. Please also bring along a favourite book to share. PARENTS/CARERS ARE INVITED TO JOIN US FROM 2.45 pm IN NURSERY AND RECEPTION – PLEASE BRING A BOOK TO SHARE WITH YOUR CHILD

Comic Relief/Red Nose Day Friday 15th March

Theme is RED – we have a non uniform day and hopefully everybody will wear at least one item of clothing or accessory which is red. Suggested donation of £1 please for comic relief. During the day there will be lots of fun red related activities going on!

Parent’s evening

Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th March

Nursery – we will have a drop in session between 3.30pm and 5pm both days, with an opportunity to speak to the staff and look through Learning Journeys. There will also be information available and activities for you to try which show how we teach maths and number to our youngest children.

Reception – there will be bookable appointments of 10 minutes per child. Please sign up on the classroom outside door to book your time slot.

Science Week w/b 11th  March

All children will be involved in daily fun science activities and experiments in class every day during this week – please see the outdoor information boards nearer the time outlining the activities.
