Connor Thompson wins an ICE award

On Friday 11th November Connor Thompson in year 8 was awarded an ICE award for

his outstanding contributions to the school community; he is a kind, generous and caring young man. Connor is fully engaged with a wide range of extra-curricular activities including Computing Club and Science Club where he recently donated a bird box which he had made to the school. Connor represents his tutor group at our student council meetings where he demonstrates excellent communication skills-listening carefully to the ideas of others and ensuring that important points for his group are clearly expressed. Connor also appeared in the August edition of the Cranbrook Herald, representing the Campus in an article about the secondary phase of the school

The awards, in their 5th year took place at St Peter’s school in Exeter  and have been created to award Inspirational Children in Education. Hosted by local celebrity Adam Moran & ICE worker Sally Naylor, there was also music from Canadian singer Melissa Bel.
