Community - Thought Of The Week

Explanation/Question/Challenge:

You may live somewhere that has loads of activities to do, places to go and things to see.  Or you could live in the middle of nowhere.  Wherever you live there are surely things you both like and dislike about it.  Surely, we all want to live in a friendly community that changes things for the better, don’t we?

• If everyone in your area decided to make a change for the better, being nice to each other and lending a hand, would that look different to your current community?
• If you could change anything about your community what would it be?
• Design your perfect community. Think about what key things you would have; would you have a supermarket or just a small food shop? Would you have a big leisure centre? What activities would be going on?
